Due to the school closures through the end of the school year, we are sad to announce that we will not be continuing our Spring sports season for middle and high school. As such we will be giving each family 65% of their Spring athletic fee back upon the return of their uniforms. 2020 Spring fees will not be able to roll over into the 2020-2021 school year.
As a reminder, we will be collecting uniforms on Thursday, April 9th from 11am-2:30pm for Prep and 1:30pm-5:30pm for Archway. We kindly ask that you adhere to the following guidelines: Our process will be like the school’s procedures. After you have collected your school belongings, follow the signs to the gym entrance doors for the athletic process. This will still be a drive-up process and you will remain in your car.
- Please place the laundered uniforms in a zip-lock bag with the student’s name, grade, and team marked on the outside of the bag. Please place these items in your trunk so we can easily access them upon your arrival. We will collect them out of your trunk and place them in our bins.
- Spring team shirts listed below will be in a plastic bag and sealed for you to take home to wash. If you get one of these, they will be placed in your trunk. Payment envelopes should be in an envelope in the trunk for us to grab. (more info below). You can let us know what size you would like upon arrival as they will be ready to grab and go for your trunk.
You will receive your refund after all collected uniforms have been catalogued and marked as returned after our collection day. We will be laundering all turned in uniforms before we put them into storage.
If you do not wish to receive a refund, please indicate it on your zip-lock bag with “NO REFUND”. All non-refunded fees will contribute to fulfilling the 2019-2020 athletic budgets. We know that this can be a difficult time for families, so we completely understand and fully respect your request for a refund. However, if you can allow us to retain your athletic fee, please know that it will greatly help us cover our costs during this time.
We will have our Spring team shirts ready to issue for $20 each. They will be issued in a zip lock bag. If you donate your participation fees, the shirt is free. If you are getting a refund, we could take the $20 out prior to refunding the 65%, or you can pay via cash/check made out to Cicero. Please place cash/checks in an envelope with name and sport. We got enough shirts for each athlete and a few extra for some parents who want them.
We understand that you may have questions around refunds of other types of fees such as ENCA, field trips, etc. Our school leadership will be sending a communication this coming week with further details on those specific returns. Please keep your eye out for that email.
