The JV boys lost their final game of the season to Phoenix Country Day 55-49. It was a back and forth game until PCD pulled away late for the win. This game came down to a player from each team putting their team on their shoulders and scoring the ball. Chris Santos had 27 points for PCD and Freshman Quinton Brooks put in 24 for Cicero. It was a fun game to watch and both players did a great job scoring for their teams.
Playing another tough opponent, the Lady Centurions fell at home 54-20 to Phoenix Country Day. However, as evident with their 20 points scored, this might have been the best played game against a very good team that the girls have played this season. They competed on every possession, moved the ball, got open looks at the basket, played tough defense and rebounded the ball. 5 players scored for Cicero. Sophomore Ernestine Wallace had 11 points to pace Cicero.
The Varsity boys took a tough loss in their final home game falling to Phoenix Country Day 65-28. It was a tough night all around for the Centurions. PCD got balance scoring from multiple players while Cicero could not get the looks they wanted and when they did, the shots did not fall. Sophomore Parker Zidel paced Cicero with 7 points and Freshman Quinton Brooks put in 5.
