Boy's Varsity Basketball · Trivium Takes Down Varsity Boy’s Basketball

After a week of games on the road, the Cicero varsity boy’s were happy to be back home.  After a first couple of minutes of back and forth competitive basketball, the Centurions lost Captain Zach VanVoorhees to a sprained ankle.  Cicero kept the fight alive and the bench came in with some high energy.  However, Trivium’s athletic and lengthy players disrupted the Cicero offense and pulled away for the 81-28 win.

Freshman Captain Quinton Brooks stepped up with 12 points and multiple blocks against the taller Trivium players, Freshman Rohan Churi dumped in 7, and Sophomore Parker Zidel added 3.

Come out and support our team in a rematch with Santa Cruz from Eloy.  It should be a good one.

Cicero also wants to notice our two Concession Queens, Emma Pophal and Sophie Kopperud for taking over as lead concessions for the basketball season.  They are doing an amazing job and they help our Athletic Director out so he does not have to worry about that at all.  Thank you ladies for your help.  Keep up the good work!
